Hey guys! I just recently looked into Chamberlain as an option for me to obtain my BSN. Does anyone recommend that school?! I'm open for pros and cons but I'd prefer hearing from someone in the program or someone whose graduated from chamberlain. Thanks!!!

rhnurse3: There are some classes that do require group projects. A couple that I can think of off the top of my head are maternity, community health, evidenced based practice, and health information. There are others, but those are the ones that come to mind right away.

I was just accepted into Chamberlain and you do not have to take the ACT if you take Hesi. I only took my Hesi exam and they used those scores and only those. I scored 90% overall and applied with a 3.5 GPA. Good Luck to everyone applying : )

ikegrad2002, I notice that you are at the Houston campus which is where I am interested in applying.

Would you mind if I message to with a few questions?

Thanks

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if chamberlain has a rn-bsn online program? If so, can anyone post their input on the program?

keep trying!! I was thinking about Chamberlain too but I just don't want to pay so much.. I'm in Georgia so there are several community colleges that offer nursing. Good luck to you!!

How long did it take to complete your BSN at Chamberlain? Was it exactly 3 years... or a little less than 3 years and what were the options for the days to take classes? I work fulltime days 12 hour shifts / 3 days a week and was thinking of going to the wekends . Did you have any Friday classes or clinicals there?

This makes me feel better. I am considering transferring to the Chamberlain College of Nursing here in Charlotte for Fall 2016. Currently at CPCC - Central and have only managed to take the two required English courses required for their nursing pre-reqs because they have me in their "remedial" math programs that cost, take up valuable semester time and space, and count nothing towards my nursing degree!! Colleges just want your $$$.

Could i ask another question? Has anyone graduated from chamberlains bsn program and gone onto advanced specialties like fnp or cnm? How hard was it to be accepted outside of chamberlain?

I am currently in the RN to BSN program. They are CCNE accredited and every school I've talked to for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner has said they only care that the program you attend is CCNE accredited and that your GPA is 3.2 or higher to get accepted
