Chamberlain College of Nursing

Hey guys! I just recently looked into Chamberlain as an option for me to obtain my BSN. Does anyone recommend that school?! I'm open for pros and cons but I'd prefer hearing from someone in the program or someone whose graduated from chamberlain. Thanks!!!

I hope everyone is doing well! I am greatly interested in Chamberlain College and I had a question.

I currently have my BS in Biology and I met most of the pre-reqs required for the Second Degree BSN. I am missing about 3-4 classes. Is Chamberlain strict about their pre-reqs? Can I take the pre-reqs I do not have at Chamberlain?

Yes u can take all pre reqs with Chamberlain, but its much less expensive at a cc.

My GPA as of acceptance is 3.5

Science preregs: 4.0

Other prereq:?

I scored 97% on the Hesi A2

Have an AA degree from 15 years ago, City college in California

Also updated my science classes at Truman College in Chicago.

Accepted for Spring 2013 @ Chicago Chamberlain campus

I have been attending Chamberlain since Jan 2013, I am starting all nursing courses this fall and clinicals in nov. What did you want to know?

So for anybody that wants to continue on later with their education, I'd be concerned about going to chamberlain.Chamberlain has been advertising quite a bit in my area but I'd rather stick to schools that aren't for-profit schools.

I know this is a really old post but I wanted to say/ask where this misinformation was given from? Or is it just an assumption? Either way, I asked and the credits will transfer over for those who want to get a masters degree. If someone stumbled onto this thread like I did through Google, look into it a little more for yourself. I've seen another form where TWU DID say they would accept a BSN from chamberlain to get a masters from them and when I went to Chamberlains open house on Jan 21, 2014, I was told by the head of the department it would transfer over to a state school to get a masters. They have the same accreditation all the state schools do. I always hear such great things about this school from people who've actually gone there and a lot of cr@p talking from people who haven't done their homework on it and just assume because it's "for profit" its a bad school, and have never attended. Do your homework on any school before listening to others who never attended. I'm just saying.
