It depends on how many transfer credits you have, if every single pre req transfers over then you have about 5 semesters which is a year and a half including summers and if tuition is about $25,000 a year then just do the math

Another question that I got a little confused by on the website: do you have to have HESI and SAT or ACT scores? Or is it one or the other?

they go by ur ACT scores and you take your HESI at the school and they get a percentage and use it toward your acceptance. They usually like students to be at 85% and higher.

Ok, well I guess that means I need to take the ACT.

I was just accepted into Chamberlain and you do not have to take the ACT if you take Hesi. I only took my Hesi exam and they used those scores and only those. I scored 90% overall and applied with a 3.5 GPA. Good Luck to everyone applying : )

I am a current Chamberlain student at the Chicago campus and I have had a good experience so far. They were really great about transfer credits. I was surprised that they accepted as many as they did for me as I already have a Bachelors degree and had taken many of the pre-reqs at my previous university.

I'm looking into Chamberlain in FL. Can someone share a few details as to how they're paying for this school. I'm wondering if financial aid and student loans are enough to cover the expenses. I already have my AA. Thank you.

Im starting the bsn program at the jax, fl campus next month... If you can get/qualify for any grants and federal loans, that will help alot with the tuition. I have a degree too, but I never took out loans or used grants when getting it, so I can get to use the grants/fed loans now. But unfortunetly, you will most likely still owe tuition for the academic year. Im having to take out private loans to cover the rest of the tuition I owe. It is an expensive program, but I think its well worth it.

Hello for those who are current or past students what program is in place to ensure yr readiness to pass the NCLEX? I understand that ATI is not utiLized so how does the school help prepare you?

After each nursing course, we are required to take the comprehensive hesi exam for that course and in order to graduate we have to pass the exit hesi exam. These exams are set up just like the NCLEX. Also, all throughout the program, the instructors word the questions on their exams like you will see on the NCLEX so you are developing your critical thinking and test taking skills right from the beginning.
