Baylor DNP Spring 2021
I don’t remember exactly but it wasn’t super long. If you are having trouble, ask your advisor. There was an issue in their system a few months ago that they had to manually enter people into their new system otherwise it tried to make you start a new application, I was to say 48 fours because of this glitch. I had my decision letter super quickly after I submitted it though. Good luck!

Chamberlain College of Nursing
After each nursing course, we are required to take the comprehensive hesi exam for that course and in order to graduate we have to pass the exit hesi exam. These exams are set up just like the NCLEX. Also, all throughout the program, the instructors word the questions on their exams like you will see on the NCLEX so you are developing your critical thinking and test taking skills right from the beginning.

Taking Entrance Exam at Watts...HELP!
I would suggest buying the actual HESI book and going through those questions. Some of the questions that were on my exam were in the book so I knew the answers right away. For me, Anatomy and Physiology was on there too, but no physics.

Chamberlain College of Nursing
I am a current Chamberlain student at the Chicago campus and I have had a good experience so far. They were really great about transfer credits. I was surprised that they accepted as many as they did for me as I already have a Bachelors degree and had taken many of the pre-reqs at my previous university.

Taking Entrance Exam at Watts...HELP!
Don't be nervous!! It was way easier than I was expecting. Just review the book and do the practice problems and you will do fine. The Your scores for portions that you have not taken classes for will be weighted differently than those you have taken the course work for. You get your score after you finish each section, if I remember correctly which was a relief for me. Good luck!!

HESI Admission Test for Chamberlain College of Nursing-Chicago Campus
I am a student at the Chicago campus and from my understanding, they weigh your scores for various sections differently based on your course work, so for me, i had not taken a&p prior to taking the exam and they took that into consideration when they weighted my score. The courses you have taken are weighted more heavily. At least for the chicago campus, we did not have to take the physics portion so don't worry about that but a&p was on there. As far as study advice- just review the hesi book and do the practice problems and you should be fine!

Chamberlain-Chicago Spring 2012 students?
Hi AtlantaGoldFish, I'm sure by now you got your question answered but I am a student at the Chicago campus and yes they do adhere to the 76% passing on the exams before the other assignments count into your grade. I have a friend that is going to fail patho and missed it by one question on the final. They do not round so even if you have a 75.99% they will not pass you. Hope this semester went better for you than you were expecting!

Anyone Hiring New Grads Now?
Just wondering if you've found a job yet. I saw that you had written on a Chamberlain thread as a current student (assuming recent grad). I am strongly considering Chamberlain for the Spring but was wondering how long it takes recent grads from there to get jobs. Are your classmates having trouble as well?
