I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
I've been following this thread for forever now so I figured i'd finally contribute. I was accepted into Western's compressed program about 2 weeks ago. I was also accepted into the Queen's AST program back in February. I decided to cancel my Queen's acceptance and went with Western. Good luck to all of you still waiting!
If you don't mind me asking what was your average in the last two years (in %)? :) congrats on your acceptances!
Congrats! Are you planning on going to Trent in the fall? I got accepted a while back but haven't heard anyone in the forum confirm they are going there in the fall. It would be nice to get to know some people before school starts :)
Yes, I plan on accepting as soon as it shows up on OUAC.
Hi guys, I am I am international student with a BSc of 3.5cgp and a Masters degree as well, do I have high chances using these to apply to York, Trent or Uof T? The preriquisite courses for York 2018 do i really have to wait till September 2018 to start in York or I can take the courses in any uni in prep. for application submission? Thank you
I hope it's 3.5 on a scale of 4? If it's on a scale of 5, you will have to convert to a scale of 4.
I've been following this for a while but have yet to post! I thought I'd give a bit of hope to anyone on University of Toronto and/or York waiting lists - I've accepted my offer at UBC so a spot will be opening up at both! Congrats to everyone who got in - WE'RE GOING TO BE RN'S!!! Hang in there to everyone who is on waiting lists/rejected - if you want it bad enough I promise it will happen for you if you keep at it! Best of luck everyone :)
