Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I sent a check with application and fingerprint card from Texas on 2/3/15. They received it on 2/6/15 and check was cashed on 2/17/15. I spoke with BRN on Monday and they said that they are currently working on end of January applications and would get to mine within 2-3 weeks and that once they evaluate it would take an additional week. Good news is that my fingerprints are cleared so all they need to do is verify education/transcripts and license on Nursys.

3/18 went to Sacramento on a flight from Bismarck

What I will have on hand are:

1. Application(Typed and filled)

2. Passport photos

3. MONEY ORDER NOT CHECK

4. Copy of sealed transcripts(along with the ones mailed directly to them)

5. Nursesys scan has been sent a week ago.

6. Copy of livescan paperwork(Typed)

I will be applying for temp and permanent.

They will have everything for temporary on file, however the difference for the permanent paperwork has to be evaluated on paper.

3/23/2015

Submission date was 3/20/2015. It says awaiting educational history. Even though I gave everything in person. They are probably still a little backed up. its been less than week though

3/30 I received a message saying I missed one transcript which I did. I did get it forwarded.

4/6 Temp License issued. I got it in 12 business days!!!!!

IDK what I did differently. They were waiting on educational documents still for my perm license. I am nice to the front desk lady? I am not sure.

I got an email to confirm my email. I searched online and saw temp was issued

Yes, I don't think there is any other way to check temp

Hi everyone,

I applied for temp and endorsement license in CA. Just got my temp license March 30. And today I got a letter in the mail saying Im missing my transcripts. and oral, written and communication classes. I resent requests for all my transcripts to my previous colleges and nursing school. What I am worried about is about the Oral/group communication classes. I took two english courses in which I wrote and public spoke, presented and researched. Would those suffice??Would the board require me to take those classes to be licensed in CA? And app how long does it take for the Permanenet endorsed license to be issued? If anyone has any info or answers please let me know. I have spent 500$ for this whole process:/ I even resent an application and fees a second time because it looked like the first app was never delivered.
