Puggie,

Do you mind telling us ur stats?

I'm pretty sure SMU's ABSN program is going to be the best way for me to go. If accepted, I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into! :D

Does anyone know what tuition is for 2011? Is it the same for all locations or does it vary by campus (I'd like to stay in Sac, but willing to move). Thanks!

Just curious...those of you that were accepted....did you guys receive a call from a 510 number or was it a private number?

Any new phone calls are going out ?

I think tuition is approx $55k/yr for the ASBN program. I am still anxiously waiting and hoping for the best so no call on this end. I'm just curious what other peoples stats have been. Not sure if the TEAS score weigh more heavily then the overall 60 qtr GPA?

Dear tubi408,

I went to the workshop held in San mateo in May.Someone asked how much TEAS score weight, the staff member Katherine said, as far as she knows, they only care if the candidate meets the scores they asked for on each subject. not sure if its still true since the post of accepted students' stats listed on SM site includes the TEAS score.

Sharsharkang,

I don't know if that is totally true... I got an 84.7 on the TEAS, 4.0 science, 3.78 preregs, and 3.9 60 qrts/semester, am a CNA licensed and I haven't gotten a call and my last name starts with a "B". So right now my hopes of getting in feels like its out of range since the "C" last name students have been called. The only thing I can think of that prevented me from getting accepted I think is the TEAS. So study for it if you can....

My stats were:

Science: 4.0

Cum GPA: 3.6

TEAS: 80

Lots of volunteer work- health and non health related. My teas score was relatively low, so I think I got in from my essays and letters of rec.

I just got notified that i am number 7 on the wait list..... so if anyone else got accepted and isn't attending pls let me know.... I'm counting my prayers right now....

did u get an official electronic waitlist letter ? or they called u ?

i got it via email.

Hi guys!

I got the call around 6pm that I was accepted to San Mateo cohort! My last name starts with an R.

Its a long time coming - I almost didn't believe her and I was in the zone watching the SF Giants kill it in the World Series! I'm celebrating double time tonight!

So, good luck to everyone!
