does anyone know if she has finished calling the accepted candidates? Still waiting and am now extra nervous..... grades were good but teas was a little above average
I don't think she has finished calling. When I spoke to her, she said she had only called a few so far and was leaving for the day.
can you tell me about when she started calling? still hoping to get in and now super nervous
I got the call at 5PM PST. I'm pretty sure she will still be making calls next Monday.

Dear SMU Applicant:
This is an update to all applicants for ABSN, San Mateo, spring 2011. I expect to have final feedback from the School of Nursing faculty by the end of the month. Thank you for your patience. Our process for notification to students will be as follows.
*Accepted candidates - I will personally call all students who are being accepted into the program. We will then send an official electronic acceptance letter to your email address. There will be a letter of intent that needs to be returned to us by a specified date, along with a $350 non-refundable tuition deposit.
*Waitlist candidates - I will call the first 10 candidates on the waitlist to notify them and discuss the waitlist with them. All waitlist candidate will receive an official electronic waitlist letter to your email address. Please note that you may be called up from the waitlist at any point, sooner or later, as late as the date of new student Orientation. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict when or if a student will be called from the waitlist.
Denied candidates - All denied candidates will receive a letter in the mail notifying them of the decision.
*Please note that it is required that all entering students take the American Heart Association CPR course for Health Care Professionals. It is highly suggested that you make arrangements to take this CPR course now. You will be required to show proof of completion of this course and current certification. Waitlisted applicants should not wait to take the CPR course.
Thank you.
