Sac State Fall 2013 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.

Well I believe the point system changed effective fall 2010 so all point cutoff a from then on can give u a good idea. Last fall, the point cutoff was 69 and that has been the highest cutoff. But also, if u look at the past cut offs it always goes up a few points with each new cycle of applicants. Like last fall when the cut off was 69 the school of nursing stated that it was a "very competitive applicant pool". Obviously one shouldn't get their hopes up but I'm expecting the cut off to be at most 72 or less. Of course I could be wrong.

It would be pretty cool to be able to meet you all at nursing orientation!!! ?

Wow, lots of activity today. This talk about competition is making me nervous!

I am going to try to be positive and hope the trend continues though. At least until it gets closer to finding out the decision and I start really freaking out...

Nursemommaof3boys: I'm glad that I can help everyone stay optimistic. On the other hand im secretly praying that I am right, not just so that I get in, but so everyone on this thread doesn't kill me for getting their hopes up! Lol

Hey guys, you all seem to have great stats! Even though I'm sure a lot of people applied, remember that most people probably applied to more than one school. I think last fall they went down to alternate # 47! If your points are over 70 I wouldn't stress about it. I would stress more about making sure you have all your immunizations, health insurance, and car insurance! Good luck everybody!
