Hello Everyone,
I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.
Kaylab13- That is wonderful you are joining the Navy. My brother is in the Army so I have a special place in my heart for servicemen/women! I really haven't given much thought to post graduate schools either, I'm just trying to accomplish one thing at a time. ;-) I also don't want to miss out on to much of my children's lives as I have already due to school. So, who knows. I'm just taking it one step at a time.
Nursemommaof3boys: I've always been interested in the military, and I've wanted to be a nurse for years. Figured I would combine my two passions and become a military nurse! :) That's fantastic that your brother's in the Army! Thank him for his service for me! I completely understand. School does tend to be very time-consuming! It's been a long road.
Nursemommaof3boys: The same goes for you! The cut-off was 69 points last fall before alternates were selected. I'm hopeful, but I just want to know for sure that I'm in. Everyone on here has worked so hard. It's time for all that hard work to pay off! I don't know how I'm going to survive these next seven weeks!
Michelle-13- I am not quite sure! I just assumed since second bachelors were unable to apply for previous semesters that it will be much more competitive this application period. However, if you look back to Fall 2010 (I believe) stats the cut off points were super low, somewhere around 56 points so who knows!! I just hope my 81 points is enough and this isn't the semester where everyone is brilliant with 90 plus points lol!
Yeah that's very true. We have basically the exact same stats. I got 88 on my teas and a 4.0 and 3 extra points for healthcare experience which put me at 81. I applied for the economic disadvantage one but I doubt I'll get it. Thanks for the stats from a couple years ago. Hopefully they'll be comparable to this fall.

Nursemommaof3boys: Since I'm joining the Navy after I get my BSN, I haven't given much thought to where I'd like to go to finish my schooling! I'll probably be moved around a lot! What about you? :)
I agree, it is agonizing. All I can think about is Sac!
