Sac State Fall 2013 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.

I just keep telling myself, okay spring break is almost here and when spring break is over we'll be in April and at least we'll be in the same month that we're supposed to find out. Pathetic I know...

Nurseinthemaking20: I want to know so I can slack off in this last organic chem class I am taking since it doesn't count towards my points!! I'm so tired of striving for perfection...I need a breather! ;-)

I completely understand! Some of the people around me don't understand how exhausting it is to do this well in these prereq's. I need a break!

Good luck to all! I started the program in fall 2012, there is nothing like nursing school. I just wanted to say, I'm not sure when they started admitting second bachelors students but they did so for fall 12' as well, so that is already reflected in the cutoff we had. Also someone asked about sac state Childcare. My little attends and LOVES it. I was a stay at home mom prior to the program and she adjusted really well. The only problem I have is they don't open until 7am and you need to be parked and in the hospital by 6:30 am on clinical days. If your hubby can do drop off, your golden. Good luck again

Sooo I just discovered a reason to be even more freaked out right now about not getting in. I have absolutely no back up plan! I've been so dead set on nursing and so determined to get into this program that I havnt set up any plans just in case I don't get in. The other majors that I would even remotely consider all require supplemental apps that need to be submitted ahead of time just like nursing. (Their much easier to get into, but I didn't submit any apps). And I didn't apply to other schools because moving is not an option. Oh geez, now I will be even more stressed until we find out. Im going to be so worried that i messed up somehow or that my transcripts didnt get sent. Why oh why do they have to be strict with that policy where they dont notify you if you are missing something??!! I hope u guys have back up plans!

Mommato3crazies- glad to hear I'm not the only one! I made myself feel better by reminding myself that I have my transcript receipts and by telling myself that even if my score isn't high enough to get me outright in its prolly high enough to at least get me a good spot on the wait list.
