Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

What? school starts tomorrow? ummm

I can't access the Falls Prevention info either!

Neither can I, it keeps saying error and will not let me download=/ I tried on a mac laptop and also a windows? Im glad I am not the only one, but how do we print it out then?

Ok, just talked to friend who is in the program. According to her she just screen shot it and pasted it onto word doc. and printed it. Geez I feel like a idiot =/

We should do a forum meetup one of these days now that were at school together. Ive already met EMT, thomasbean, and Nurse5.0 by chance. What do you guys think?

I just looking into the lvn programs at rcc. Is it difficult to get in. what is the waiting period. i noticed this post start last year in sept and some of you barely starting the class.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what kind of books you are using in the first semester of the program?

Thanks

For those of you who are in the Spring 2014 cohort, can anyone PLEASE confirm what your program course schedule looks like?

I have applied for Spring 2015 and unfortunately have to plan an unexpected trip overseas to visit a sick family relative.

If anyone could please confirm a break when I can plan to book my travel (I'm hoping for 2 weeks), I'd greatly appreciate it.

I wish I could travel before starting the program but financial and work commitments won't allow for it.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to offer any information.

How many points did you have?

Based on their ADN website, you should be able to apply with courses in progress. I just called and emailed their SON to confirm.

....3. Students with prerequisite courses in progress must turn in a grade verification form to the School ofNursing office as soon as the final grade is available.
