This is a discussion on Mount St. Mary's College Los Angeles - Accelerated BSN applicants for Summer 2013. I was not able to find any discussion forums on this, so I thought I would start one!

I have recently applied to MSM's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2013...and I wanted to see if there is anyone else out there as eager as I am to hear back! :)

I would think so?? In any case- we're not in a setting where we're fighting for classes any more. (i dont know about your experiences but getting science classes for pre-reqs at community colleges; i found people were ruthless) We've been accepted and we're in!! they will make sure that we get our classes.... (big exhale) so i'm not too stressed out about registering. feels great doesn't it??

thats what i thought too! so anybody going to take the taylor university bioethics course before we start in may? I emailed agasia and she said that it has to be completed before that date otherwise it wouldn't count as a pre-req and we would need to take it in the 2nd semester.

I will most likely be taking the bioethics course through Taylor. I want the year to be as easy as possible. Probably going to order my books and register today. I tried to contact them about it, but nobody returned my call :banghead:

I'm taking it right now, ----------- said that we have to complete it before Aug 26th. I bought the Vaughn book but borrowed the Meilander from the library... It's 9 modules consisting of 10 case reviews, 1 online exam, 1 research paper. It's pretty light, totally doable before classes start at May 6.

anyone doing private loans? i'll be doing sallie mae.

so you didn't buy the Fedler book? Do you know how long it takes start the class once you register? Or is it instant?

It's instant... the only book I bought was the Vaughn LEwis one, I did not buy the Fedler..

So the only book that we really need is the one by Vaughn Lewis? I ordered all three books but I'm hoping I can cancel the order in time. Thanks for the help!

i would check lapl.org for the meilander one.. the Fedler question for the online exam, you can just google it. :)

for private loans will be applying with sallie mae and gonna see what other lenders can offer as well.

Does anyone know if we need the Test Success 5th Ed. by Patricia Nugent and Barbara Vitale even though there is a 6th edition out?

How in the world do I start the course? I registered & paid, but when I click on the Blackboard icon it leads to nothing
