U.S.A. California

I've been on the Grossmont waiting list for a year and a half now. Estimated start date is fall of 2007...anyone else?? I mainly see posts from people in programs or people still taking pre req's. Looking for others in limbo here in san diego like myself.

Wooo Hoooo! I just got mine too. BIG PROBLEM though, I don't see an option for the Night/Weeekend section. Does anyone have any info on this?

Oh no! Maybe they aren't offering it the upcoming semester. You can't go for the day program? I hope it works out for you!

I did not get an email yet, i hope that doesn't mean i did not get in! When did you ladies take the teas?

I took it in November 2007.

that was a long time ago! maybe they notify those who took it first..well first! Keep your fingers crossed for me! this waiting is hell.

I took it this January.

sdmommie-

I thought you had started this Spring?? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

Nope. I wish. I've been on the waiting list since Jan 2006.

they aren't doing another night and weekend until fall 2009

I'm in the n&w program at grossmont and that is what they told the people in my class that didn't pass the first semester.

I just received my acceptance email with a letter to follow up for Grossmont! Anyone else? Now I have to choose between SD City or Grossmont :)

I'm so happy that after waiting since Jan 2006, I will finally be starting nursing school! :yeah:

yayyyy!!! that is so exciting! congratulations!! & good luck with your choice. let us know which school you choose! :)

Specializes in NICU.

Congrats to all you who got into Grossmont's program.:yeah:

I applied in Jan 08 and the waiting list is 3-4 years. Heck, science courses expire after 5 years! I've spread my eggs in other baskets, so to speak, and hopefully one of those will pan out. I can't hold my breath for Grossmont, even though I would love to go there. It's far cheaper (than schools like National University), and much closer to home. However if you factor in a min. 3 years waiting list, 30+K in debt doesn't sound so bad.

Good luck to you all!
