APU ELM Summer 2015

Hello!

I don't see a thread for prospective students for Azusa Pacific University's ELM program for the Summer 2015 start so I decided to start one.

I am Vanessa and I am just about to send in my complete application packet this week. I am early though since the deadline is not until 1 July.

I hope we can support each other and update each other as we move through the process of applying/interviewing/admittance!

Ditto! @MrsBostrom we should hear back any time now. Last summer, students heard back around this time. Good luck to everyone! :)

Does anyone know how many applicants received an interview for each campus?

Today I got an email stating:

"We wanted to let you know that we have updated your APU Network Account to reflect your Graduate Student affiliation with APU."

Did anyone else receive a similar email? What does it mean? It appears to mean that I'm now a Grad Student in their system. I haven't checked the mail today, but I haven't received a letter yet. Anyone know about this? Exciting!

hi mrsbostrom! i got the email about 5 minutes after I read your post. i was kinda nervous at first since i hadn't received it. i actually logged on to the apu.edu site and saw that my application was complete. nothing that says i'm accepted. but hey, this sounds positive, right? i already checked the mail and there is no letter from APU yet. i hope we will know our fate within the next few days!

I received an email just a bit ago confirming that I have been accepted to the Summer 2015 program and that the hard copy letter will arrive in the next week or so. Can't wait to see who my classmates will be!! SO thrilled! I cannot concentrate at all at work right now!

yay! congratulations to you! hoping that i will be receiving an email of the same sort. i actually logged back on the apu.edu site and i was clicking around. under my programs - i had graduate then ELM program so i'm hoping that means acceptance? wishful thinking...LOL! again, congrats to you!

I got the same email too! Reading blogs for previous cohorts, this seems to be what you get before a letter and/or call of acceptance so I hope that still holds true. :nailbiting: Let me know if you hear anything else!

I got a call then an email from APU! I got accepted :woot:

@jc1908 - don't fret it. it's still too early to tell if you're in or not.

@ajwri84 - yep, it seems like they send the "graduate student affiliation" email first then the acceptance email after.
