Yay! Finally, the wait is over!

Which program did you all get into? Was it your top choice?

I got into the traditional 4 sem at Phoenix College. It was my 5th choice because its forever away from where I live, but hey....I won't complain. At least I got in.

Can't wait for January.

I was accepted into the accelerated CGCC program starting in May. I started a thread to see if any others are out there, but I guess no one has seen it. I am thrilled because the CGCC program is closest to my home, :specs: but I hate all of the rumors going around regarding the program's problems. :confused: Again...any one out there get accepted into this new program?

My believe my datestamp was June 6th-ish 2007. Once you are "placed" your date/time stamp is removed from your login page. Still no one out there who is going to this new CGCC program in May?

well congrats on getting in! I live in Gilbert too and have that down as one of my choices. hopefully this program will be a little better than the traditional cgcc one. :)

Thanks. Can you elaborate about what the "problem" is with CGCC's program? No names - just generalities will be fine. Is it just rumors?

I've just seen a lot of previous posts on here about the program's instructors being the main problem....it sounded like they weren't involved enough and didn't care if students passed or failed....and also a lot of people either failing the program early on or trying to transfer to another school. It's just scary that there has yet to be any good comments about this program...it would be great to hear from any of the students that started this fall and their opinions on it! :)
