Hi everyone! I am planning on submitting my application for Spring 2025 next Monday. This will be my second time applying. I wanted to create this forum for us applicants to keep in touch!

Yes, let me log out and try to log back in.

I got an email stating they got my application when I first submitted it, so I know they got it...

I did not 😞 I thought they would at lesser send a rejection notice LOL. @Kb4488 what did the email say if you don't mind sharing?

Maybe they're sending rejections out first. I don't mind, here it is 🙂

Yuba College Nursing Department Admissions

Dear Applicant:

 

The applicants for the Yuba College Nursing Program were scored using the Merit-Based Admission Criteria and your coursework was reviewed.

 

We are informing you that you were not selected for admittance into the upcoming semester. There are two possible reasons applicants are not conditionally accepted one is your ranking based on your application score, the other is due to lack of required prerequisite courses.

 

For statistics on the Merit based and Application scores that received an offer of conditional enrollment and alternate status, please go to our website https://yc.yccd.edu/nursing/about-us/student-handbook#AnswerstoFrequentlyAskedQuestions

 

If you would like to review your required prerequisite courses, refer to our requirement checklists at Forms - Yuba College Nursing (yccd.edu). It is suggested that you contact our Yuba College Counseling Department for questions related to your prerequisite courses.

 

If you have any questions regarding your application, please set up a meeting with the Nursing Department, by contacting Nhea in our office at 530.740.1745 to set-up an appointment. She will take your information and we will get back with you. When calling us please have your name, student id, your application score and what program you applied for ready to provide to Nhea.

What did the email say that they sent you last week? If you don't mind me asking ?

Issues were identified on your nursing application. Please work with our Yuba College Counseling Department. Ensure you are using the correct language verification form and that the form is completed in its entirety, form can be found here Forms- Yuba College Nursing.   

  

Notes:  

Language form was signed by counselor using "seal" for meeting requirements. Language form must be completed in its entirety to be considered for points.

Im wondering if I would get a rejection email? I just assumed they wouldn't count the language verification form and that those points wouldn't get counted. I didn't expect my application to be disqualified LOL. IDK if I should expect an email.

I would think that they should have emailed you saying if you were accepted or not... usually they send you one regardless. How many points did you apply with?

I initially applied with 80 but they did not accept my language form so it went down to 75 😕 what about you? did you get an email?
