Has anyone in here ever seen their hosp or other facility featured on TV. I see my local hosp on Discovery Health all the time. That means they are a darn good hosp. I also seen the nurse that took care of my nephew on the show.

Our facility is on the local news all the time. The also have a segment called "Health Connections" and our cath lab (where I work) is on there quite a bit.

Not really. It means they have a good Public Relations Department. Just because you see something on TV doesn't mean it is "true" or "better." It just means that someone got it in front of the producer's eyes and made it easy for the producer to shoot the footage there.

NO thanks be.
There are a lot of superior smaller size facilities that provide outstanding care that are never profiled on TV. I pay little attention to TV anyhow. It's all about drama.
It must have been exciting, however, to see a nurse you knew portrayed or at least filmed.
