I got accepted to second entry nursing at York University on Feb 6th and I am really excited about it -finally starting something new and fresh :)
I added this new thread for students who got accepted or students who applied and are awaiting a response from York. I would love to befriend new nursing students even before the program starts.

good luck vianna20!! do you mind telling me what your gpa is for your last 30 credits as well as your overall gpa? also have you completed all the prerequisites?
i have a gpa of 3.78 the guy at admissions told me today its quite low hmmmmm but am guessing my file is last to be reviewed or even given any notice cuz my transcript is international and domestic students come first thats what he finally said after stalling around.pickme good luck to you too
I haven't heard from York yet either!! This is so nerve wracking! I called York once in march and they said that they have in the past sent out offers in June. I called them again in may and they said the same exact thing. I realllly really hope the program has open spots left!!! I don't want to wait another year

Maybe the guy at admissions thought your GPA was based on Yorks grading scale, which unlike most universities is out of 9 not 4.
