  2. Hello, to all the students who got accepted congrats :). Please join the new group created by hopfulN. Look for York 2nd Entry Nursing Class of 2015 C ya guys there :)
  3. Congrats hopefuln. Im sooooo happy for u. U have been waiting along time and the legthy waiting paid off :)
  4. I actually was wondering about the same thing and I called York to ask. They said as long as the courses u a dropping are not ur pre-requisites u are fine and it wont affect your admission. The most important thing for them is finishing all the pre-reqs before August and maintaining a high GPA.
  5. Hey jdt1189, Some of my friends at York asked the admissions office and they said York students usually get a response starting from mid march.
  6. hmm interesting. I thought the majority would be York students. thank u
  7. Hey, I am not a York student and I completely understand what you mean. It is very stressful in my case as well (psyc is really not my thing :/). Call York and ask them about your conditional offer. BTW a B is between 70-74 according to their grade scale. Also, you have up to august to show them prove of the completed pre-reqs. You can either work really hard to get the highest mark u can get, or drop the course if it is not too late and take it in the summer, or if u cant drop it and u end up doing poorly u can still upgrade and repeat the course in the summer. You have a lot of time left in that regard. as to the deadline for accepting the offer, there is really no way out because I asked York and they said there is no extension. keep us updated and good luck!!
  8. For those of u who got in congratulations sit back and relax ^_^ and for those of u who are still waiting for a response, it is still early you guys dont freak out yet..hope you all get in
  9. Yaaay congrats what university are u studying in currently? And does anybody know how many students get accepted every year?
  10. Hey nutmeg congrats. I got accepted too and it sucks that my offer expires on March 4th because I was waiting to hear from other universities when u accept the offer u wont be able to accept other offers on ouac. My offer of admission is conditional and they stressed it twice that I should get minimum B in psych (my only in progress pre-requisite) as well as all my other courses I am currently enrolled in.
  11. hello, yeah sure I dont mind. My cumulative is A- and last 10 courses A but I have been taking 4 courses per term (from McMaster). Also, I still need to do psych, my last pre-requisite as my acceptance is conditional. don't worry about it really as long as you have above B you will be fine and will hear good news from York :) good luck
  12.
