York University-second entry nursing students for Sept 2013

Hey everyone,

I got accepted to second entry nursing at York University on Feb 6th and I am really excited about it -finally starting something new and fresh :)

I added this new thread for students who got accepted or students who applied and are awaiting a response from York. I would love to befriend new nursing students even before the program starts.

Congratulations! What was your GPA, if you don't mind telling us?

I've also applied to the Nipissing program. I interview next week. I did a little asking around as well as this program is very new and not much is known about it. Someone on a different forum posted a PDF with a fair amount of info.

I still haven't heard back! I just sent my final transcript in (May 24) because I was waiting for final marks. Anyways, I just got off the phone with admissions and they said the program is full. They are still looking at applications incase people get accepted into other programs and drop out. Best of luck to those who are still waiting!!

full? this is just too much i just hope people who dont want nursing that bad just drop out asap or atleast accept other offers and we get some space.the stress is just killing me each time i check my york login or call.just last week they said i wld get a response in 10 days today is 9 days already and nothing:cry: and now i hear full? too much

in mid-may i had an an assessor look at my file who then put my file forth for a decision, but I still haven't heard anything yet as well. extremely nervous

same thing i was told mid- may then i called last week and they said this week and this week is done, i called today at 4pm and i was actually told the seats are filled up and there is no waiting list and i will have to wait if iffffffff someone drops out admissions stressed and said its a big if so i shdnt put my heart on it. .besides my transcript is international too so i guess domestic students first even if someone drops domestic first thats wat iv been told too much of a weekend for me. then he said i will get an email or call from them next week after another review. its always review review review. another year passes by.....
