  3. Hello an16, congratulations on your acceptance! Can you please send me a Private message, I am unable to do so. I would like to speak to you about the program.
  4. I just double checked, yes you're right. Whoops!
  5. My last 10 FCE are B+. I have 3 years experience working in Heath promotion, diabetes education, exercise therapy for special needs children, research assistant positions at hospitals and with my previous profs. they didn't give a reason for why I was rejected. My gpa is on the lower end and most likely the reason why I am not considered.
  6. January entry to university of Calgary after degree nursing for 2015 is suspended. (Check their website). York offers a collaborative nursing program staring in January through kings college. I don't want to be a cloud of negativity but, I noticed these were mentioned in the forum and wanted to bring clarity in case anyone plans to apply to Calgary. Has anyone applied to any collaborative programs and are they just as competitive as 2nd entry?
  7. I just received an email today regarding a rejection from UofT. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted and for people who have been waitlisted, don't lose hope!
  8. Congratulations to you too Jacan! When did you hear about your acceptance and have you heard from them regarding enrolment deposit or enrolling in classes?
  9. @Talstar, my interview was alright. I wasn't asked that question regarding the learning style. Most of my questions were pulled from my personal statement. So, I guess interview questions vary from each individual. I got an offer from SPP last week and I am most likely going to go there since, I haven't heard from other universities yet!! @kaydee, I am not sure how they calculated my GPA since they look at best 20 courses I believe. My cGPA is. Mid B. I took a few anatomy, physiology and psychology courses post grad and they were A.
  10. I haven't heard anything yet. However, they told me I'll hear from them by end of June. How did you think the interview went?
  11. Hi guys, So, unfortunately I was declined an offer this year. My cumulative was 5.96/9 and last 30 credits were A. Can you guys give me a hint as to how I could improve my chances for next year? Apparently this year there were 800 applicant and 130 spots. Is York one of the toughest schools to get in?
  12. I have left the program secretary a voice mail 2 weeks ago but no one called me. I'll call her again. I doubt there are any seats left anymore though
  13. Thank you! I will call admissions first thing tomorrow.
  14. Hey guys, I am an internal applicant as well. When you called to ask if youve been accepted, who did you call? I called nursing Dept. several times and they just tell me to wait till end of june or even early july since they may be waiting for spots. And everytime I call admissions, they tranfer my call to Nursing Dept. so who did you guys speak with?? Since I dont even know if I am even on a waitlist and my decision still says : no decision yet on the york website!
  15. Hi guys, I am an internal applicant as well. When you called to ask if you were accepted, did you call the nursing dept. or the admissions office?
