I just visited the California BRN to look at my RN license and this message showed up:

ALERT On March 10, 2022, license verification requests previously completed by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) will be completed by Nursys®. Nursys® provides online verification for endorsement to a nurse requesting to practice in another state and anyone who wants to verify a nurse license.

As the BRN is transitioning to Nursys® there will be a short period of time that a verification request can be made through your BreEZe account; however, it is encouraged that this option is not used. It is anticipated that this option will be removed from BreEZe in April 2022.

This is a good thing.  CA license verifications to other states for endorsement took a long time with the previous manual process.  It should now be faster since nurses endorsing to another state can request a license verification for their CA RN license through NURSYS and have it sent electronically and seen by the receiving BON immediately.  This brings CA in line with other states that have already implemented this process.
