goodness- for a split second I thought you meant residents as in doctors at a teaching hospital. Now I would have liked to see that!

We did it at our LTC-invited the community and they set up a path through several units and led them through in groups.Only a few residents from each unit were invited to go down to the main floor and help pass out the candy-so something that was supposed to be fun has ended up hurting alot of people's feelings...Our activity dept could have taken some more folks down there and sort of lined them up along the halls but only the cute grandmom and grandpops were invited...We do have some residents that could scare the crapout of a little one-but hey...let them think they are remote control displays or something....Getting old is not always pretty

We don't have anything like that at my facility, wish we did! I think it's too late to come up with something now...but maybe next year! That sounds like it's excellent for the residents and kids alike.

We do that in our facility. Our town is only about 25,000 people but last year we had over 4,000 kids. The residents love it.
