  3. :rotfl:I get to at my work place (i am a cna at a nursing home) But i think it is nice to see nurses in fun scrubs how do u all feel and do u get to wear fun scrubs? :nurse:
  4. I just want to first and for most just tell u that i have a huge amount of respect for nurses. one of my friends who wants to go into nursing was talking to an RN who has a bsn and she told her if she wanted to be an RN she should get her bsn and not a adn because the only job she will get is one in a nursing home i thought that there was really no difference just that with the bsn u are more likely to get mangement jobs but i am still planing on going for the adn is that a good choice? lots of love Sara

  7. whats your charting like it being computerized what do u chat and i ment the colors of ink being used sorry for not explaining
  8. hey everyone! I just had a few questions about charting. ok at the place i work which is a nursing home PMs chart in green AMs chart in black and the other charting is done in red the black and red could be switched around. but my question is, does each shift have a different color, what colors do u guys use or is all charting done the same, i also herd that one of the down falls to nursing is all the charting, what are some of the things u have to chart, and what have been some of the advances in charting, is it mostly done by hand, sorry if these questions seem dumb but i thought i would ask! thanks for your time!!!!! lots of love! Sara

HI everyone i just want to say i am a new member and i just wanted to say hi! I am a senior in high school and I work as a CNA. I got my CNA this last summer. At school i am in a co-op program which lets me leave school early and work.(as a CNA the school even payed for me to get my CNA) I really enjoy the work and I get such a rewarding feeling when I help the residents. I want to go into nursing. and anytime i met a nurse i ask them like 1000 questions and they must think i am nuts! hahah! I have so much respest for nurses. I cant wait for the day that i can be called an RN thank you so much for the job u do! I have just one quick question at the local schools in your area do you have a co-op program were high school students can work as CNAs thanks! Sara
