We did it at our LTC-invited the community and they set up a path through several units and led them through in groups.Only a few residents from each unit were invited to go down to the main floor and help pass out the candy-so something that was supposed to be fun has ended up hurting alot of people's feelings...Our activity dept could have taken some more folks down there and sort of lined them up along the halls but only the cute grandmom and grandpops were invited...We do have some residents that could scare the crapout of a little one-but hey...let them think they are remote control displays or something....Getting old is not always prettyOriginally posted by S5777I was working yesterday and it was trick or treat day they gave all the residents candy and kids went from resident to resident the kids were eather grandkids great grandkids or kids of workers it was so cute to see the residents hand out candy and it made them so happy do any of your hospitals do somthing like that for the kids or for residents?
