I just accepted a job yesterday for a non-agency private duty nurse position. It is part time, but I couldn't be happier! Plus, I love the case manager. I've worked with her for a few years on the same case while I was a non-agency personal care aide. In fact, it was the case manager that recommended my name to the client's family. It's great to be able to network.I also received an offer from the mental health therapeutic community that I currently work at to join their nursing staff as a PT/PRN position. That works out perfectly! This job is so close to home and they are very willing to accommodate my schedule.
Things are finally starting to fall in place
. I am so very grateful for these opportunities.
Congrats!
Thank you everyone. I love the support of this website, it has really helped me not only through nursing school, but in preparing for the NCLEX as well as searching for employment. I am sure I will continue to utilize this nursing forum for further insight as I learn the ropes as a new nurse!
