Hi all... I don't post here often, but I had to post today. I just found out that I don't need to take nearly as many pre-reqs as I originally thought.
I'm applying to University of New Brunswick - Saint John (Canada). I had thought that I would need to upgrade my grade 12 math, bio, chem, english, and physics, (7 courses in total) as well as get my CPR and Suicide Intervention courses completed before January in order to qualify and be competitive to apply and be accepted into UNBSJ.
Well... seems that luck is finally on my side. I spoke with my guidance counselor today about it all and found out that I only need grade 12 math, bio and chem. I can use my english grade from college (86%) and I don't need to get physics. On top of all this... I only need a minimum of 80% for my overall average to be competitive, which I already have.
I feel so relieved!! I've schedualed a campus meeting with UNBSJ, as well as a meeting with an admissions advisor so we can make my application process easier. I'm so happy... I've been stressing over whether or not I'd have enough time to get my pre-reqs done in time and now I now for sure that I will... it's a huge load off my shoulders.
Sorry for the rant, I know this isn't crazy awesome news like "I got it to nursing school" but.... I just had to get that out there. Hubby is getting tired of me freaking out
