Yale University GEPN 2024

Updated:   Published

Hello allnurses community!

This thread is for those applying to Yale's GEPN (Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing) Program for the Fall 2024 start.

It might be a little early as deadlines haven't been announced yet, but given all of the questions that many of us might already have, one can never be too early!

Good luck to everyone!

I believe there are no interviews this admissions cycle.

This program no longer has interviews for admission @kv13. They replaced interviews with the short essays in the application. I was given this information by the director.

Hi everyone! I am planning on applying next cycle, and I am curious about the average GPA accepted and experiences required for the Yale GEPN program. Additionally, I would like to know what admissions focuses on when reading applications. Thank you!

Do you happen to know the cohort size for Yale?

I'm in this year's cohort. Started with 70, currently we have 69.

We find out in 2 weeks!

Admissions said December 22nd in an email to me - so hopefully this is true!

I don't think it's due for another little bit but I'm not 100% so I would research it and get into contact with FAFSA!

Does anyone else keep getting emails from Yale about "finishing their application" when you already submitted your application by the deadline? I got one today about meeting with an admissions counselor but nothing about the December 22nd decision date.

They told me we should hear back BY December 22nd... it could be before that. Also, FASFA for 2024-2025 is not open yet.

same! I was also told we'll have our decisions by December 22.

I just emailed with a different question and I got a response that said we would get our decisions ON December 22nd.
