I am not sure I am spelling these hospitals correctly, however does anyone know anything about these two hospitals? I went to a job fair and they both impressed me. To be honest the CT group of hospitals seem to be offering bigger and better than all the other regions that were there. I was impressed with them.

Thanks.

I work at Backus hospital on a Med/Surg/Pediatric floor. I really enjoy working there. We have the same problems as most hospitals, such as being short-staffed, but I have to say I work with a great group of people and that makes all the difference. Good luck in your decision...

I worked prn at YNHH while I was a YSN grad student, and was happy with them as an employer. The other, full-time nurses seemed to be pretty satisfied with them, also. The food in the cafeteria was really good! :chuckle Quite a few local folks would come to the hospital cafeteria for Sunday dinner, like going out to a regular restaurant -- how many hospitals can say that?

speaking of the food...... my mother got a Bone Marrow Transplant at YNHH... and i must say that elkpark was right about the food. It was great. It was not the cliche "hospital food" that everyone thinks it is.

Enough about food, let's talk about nursing ahhaha.
