Hey all! I am reapplying and wanted to create this for everyone applying. I won't be as involved as I was last year, but good luck to everyone! I know they're having seminars and allowing people to schedule one on one consultations for applications.

You mean need based? Or did you get need based too

On page 3, it lists the different types of awards in the letter but it did not list merit so I am assuming that maybe merit is its own thing?

I got two separate things: Merit Scholarship (separate document in the portal and also added to my financial aid letter) and Fed Direct Loan Unsubsidized

So need based wasn’t even present at all? Wasnt listed as 0?

I wonder if you get merit aid if you are then ineligible for need-based? Though the two shouldn’t be mutually exclusive...

hi, sorry no I received a need based, not merit based. I had to take a moment because my tears were preventing me from seeing my screen.

I don’t wanna make the people who were rejected feel sad, but I don’t think I can do it at this point. It’s really hitting hard right now. I can invest that kind of money in the stock market... I’m really easy to please and I know NP would be so awesome but... at this cost
