Three different posts asking the same question- kind of makes me wonder why you ask. A simple google search of xrb surgery brings up multiple lis to various vision correcting surgeries, so I'm guessing it's somehow related to that although I didn't read anything in depth. If you're asking because a provider recommended it for you, you should address your questions with the provider. If it's related to a patient, surely there are other resources available- the OR staff/educator, the surgeon, etc.

If it ain't on Google it don't exist;). I've never heard of it....it really reminds me of the there are no dumb question rule. I hope you will ask a surgeon or co-worker and let us know. Medicine is always evolving, there will always be new procedures, new equipment, new jargon, etc.
Our surgery center does GI procedures also. My patient had a positive FIT......I asked the GI doc what in the world that was, he laughed and said that was confusing a lot of people, it is a new way of describing FOB...fecal occult blood. It stands for fecal immunochemical testing!
