i was wrongfully terminated i believe from a home health agency i helped establish. myself and one other nurse that were born and raised in this small home town aquired patients in need in very little time and went on to work with her so that she could get her business going. she eventually ran out of money to pay us and we stuck with her cause i was with 2 other agencies as a part time employee and i could go without her pay, although she (boss) said she would pay us when she was approved and was able to bill. so we waited for her to get licensed. eventually she did get her license and we got paid.

what happened was that for 3 weeks i contacted MD for needed prescription refill for his patient to no avail. My patient decided for me to schedule appt. with another local MD( we have around 12,000 population). original MD found out and accused me of taking away his patient, mind you this patient, i had found for him and 9 others. so times when hed come down and home visit his patient i would do my visit and so that i could translate from english to spanish, but sometimes home visits were at 11pm. and himself sometimes 3am. . He asked my 12 year boss to fire me or he would report her, due to him thinking i had taken his patient to another MD. . what can i do? needless to say the patient 30 plus patients i had were distributed to other field nurses and some denied their services to follow me due to their service i rendered them. any suggestions. i have the proof of when i would order the medications fromMD to no avail. patient was feeling the effects of diabetes and htn and pain related to arthritis. that is why i had no choice but to make that appt. with local MD.

what can i do about my being short on all my paychecks except for 1 started in 6/2014 since then i have been short and have notified personnel, will be filling out TEC form so they may help. please advice if similar situation.

Paycheck shortages - go to the Labor Board and file a complaint. As for the rest, you may have legal recourse. See an attorney is what I would suggest. I am curious, who is the MD going to report you to and for what? You realize he was blowing smoke, don't you? I see your problem as being with your boss. She did not stand up for you. You need to be satisfied with working for your other agencies or you need to see about bringing legal action. Most likely, the former is more convenient and likely to be successful than the latter. Good luck.

Why would you work for no paycheck? You are being abused.
