Okay, that is obviously exaggerated. I actually just bought 22 books! I have 18 nursing books, 1 math book, and 3 for my race and ethnic issues class. Wow. I'm still in awe. I spend $1,300!!!! Can you believe that? Although it is actually a reasonable price for 22 books. And the nursing books are meant for the entire two years which makes me feel much better. It's just that buying them all at once is a little overwhelming. I'm looking at my checking account and am light-headed.
So how many books does everyone have or have to get? I'm planning on keeping all of my nursing books. Are you keeping yours or are you going to try to sell them back? Just curious to see what everyone else is up to.
we have 22 books on our list. yesterday, one of the instructors told us that we needed to bring all of our books to the first day of class! you should have heard the silence...lol.
i raised my hand and asked if we had to bring all of them the first day? there are 22 on our list and she said, uh, no, i will send out a list.
dang that was a relief, i was thinking i am going to have to put the dolly in the car to wheel them in.
wouldn't that have been a sight? i think all of the other students would have come out to watch the whole nursing class haul 22 books each into class.
Our list has 15 books but, I'm only buying 7 total after I get my Financial aid. I bought two older editions already and I have books from patho. and pharmacology at another school that I'm using instead since I already have them. If the time comes that I find out I will need certain books on the list I'll buy them then.

I am buying my books next week (need my financial aid first). We have to have 12 required and they also recommend 11 more. We will have to buy 2-3 for each semester after this first load. It is crazy!!! I'm gonna need a backpack with wheels!!
