I didn't get any questions related to wound care on my NCLEX PN or RN.
Most questions related to wound care is not always going to be related to the wound care itself.
To add: start to understand the four concepts of becoming a competent, entry-level nurse:
1. Safe, effective care;
2.Health promotion;
3.Physiological Integrity;
4.Psychosocial integrity
Will determine WHAT the question is asking you; the question may be wound related-but is it a Health Promotion or a Safety, or a Physiological or a Psychosocial one? Would you know the difference and choose the BEST answer?
Once one understands the concepts of NCLEX, they can answer the questions successfully.

the last response was very well said. My suggestion would be to go to the NCSBN website and look at the breakdown of the exam and plan your study accordingly. Read each question completely to determine just what it is asking of you. Sometimes the answer choices all seem to be correct, but there is one "most" correct answer. The exam is designed to determine if you are qualified to be a safe, beginning level, generalist nurse. As I sat for the exam I often asked myself if my answer would put the patient in any sort of risk. I used patient safety as my guideline.
