Would You Marry or Date a Patient or An Ex-Patient of Yours

Published

I have known of a colleague who fell in love with a patient and eventually had a child with him. My question is, would you marry one of your "fabulous" or "charming" patients? I also know a Unit Secretary who married an alcoholic patient whom she met on the Psychiatric Unit she works on.

Hell no. Never

I was in the Hill Country- WAY different than north TX- LOL. It was great. I've tried to move back several times, but the health issues have kept me grounded. :(

Ah. I know how you feel. I miss WA. I was only there 10 months but never wanted to leave. I still think some day I will go back.

Yeah, even though I grew up in IL (GAG, sputter, choke, slobber), I felt like TX was home- my friends are there, and my heart is. I had THE best parts of my nursing career there- and nothing here comes close ... but at least I did get the 17 years there :)

Hey! That's where I am headed...No fooling at all. My daughter and family are outside of Seattle, I get there as much as possible. I LOVE it there. Since I am geographically as far away as you can get, it will take some planning on my part, but it's in the works.:D

Cannot wait, cannot wait, cannot wait...erik, where were you in WA?

diva, :p

Get with the program girl. He is in PA.

Oops, am I allowed to be sarcastic anymore? With all these anti-posts?
