Would I be crazy if I took this courseload?

I haven't been in school in 12 years and I need to take Chemistry of some type and AP I...would I be nuts to take both of these at once?

I also will be working a full-time job (something should come through for me soon), and a single parent to one very active 2 -year old...lol...aren't they all?:typing

I took a&p 1 and chemistry 101 over the summer. I worked full time. I have 3 sons ages 7-11. The oldest also played travel baseball. I got an "A" in a&p and a "B" in chemistry. I would have gotten an A in chemistry but had a horrible instructor. It can be done but you have to be diligent about studying. I would study at work during my lunch, and slow time. I would take my books to baseball practice and study. I did not get friendly with the moms at baseball, as all I wanted to do was watch my son and study. The other moms had coffees or get togethers and I was never able to go. I explained to them I did not want to appear to be rude, I just needed to study. Make sure that the people in your life know that you need to accomplish this. Otherwise, there will be many distractions!!

I took A&P in the spring. 2 weeks after the class I came down with shingles. Take them one at a time. Chemistry is no picnic either. I have 4 days of A&P II left and then I will be in the nursing program in January! :uhoh3:

That would be tough. I am taking A&P 2 and Nutrition which will have some form of chemistry in it, I think, but I am not working and my daughter is a teen. I know it will NOT be easy, but it wont be near what a&p and chemistry would be while working and taking care of a little one. I dont think I would try what you are thinking of trying.

Good luck!!!
