I would say if you walk in anyones house that is in nursing school, it is not going to be spotless. In order to get through NS you have to be able to "let go" of the unnecessary task of everyday cleaning. Thats a hard thing to do if you are use to having your house spotless all the time. Its important to prioritize your time to get through school and be able to keep up with the demands of school work. The guilty feelings do subside and life goes on whether house is clean or not. LOL...
BOY, DO I KNOW!
Congrats on cleaning the bathroom!!! I know it's difficult to find time when your in class...trust me!!! It is a GREAT feeling when you can actually do it!!! I'm off for the summer and I'm dreading my house falling apart again when I begin in August...be afraid, be very afraid! LOL
I keep clorox wipes in the bathroom, sitting out, so when I'm in there, I'll quickly wipe things down and that has helped me stay somewhat sane.
I just wanted to share with everyone that I was able to clean the shower and toilet today! I know it sounds dumb, but we have this week off from NS and my one goal (other than to study for our final next week and spend the 4th of July with my family) was to clean the bathrooms in our house. I so want to go to sleep, but back to studying about Hepatitis I go...For those of you also in NS who are full time moms and wives too, you know how good it feels to clean something in the house...
Um, not to hijack your thread, but your comment of "v" makes me wonder...in nursing school, is there a lot of studying of actual disease and disease process? I know the question may sound ignorant, but I am just now taking prereq's, so......I don't even know enough, to ask the right questions...I'm clueless as to what's covered in a nursing class...
