Hi,
I was just wondering have any new grads received an interview or position at Womens Hospital in houston? If so do you have an suggestions how to land an interview after applying? Thanks!

Most new grad positions should have been filled for Dec grads last year but postions for May grads should open up in March-ish.
thanks NeoNurse!
I got an interview there but still haven't hear anything 2 weeks later! Do you work there?

I went up there and personally visited the Nurse Manager on one of the units. She said she was going to have HR bring me in for an interview. It has Been two weeks also. When I called her on this past Friday she said I should hear something early this week.
She told me that HR dont pull new grad applications for her unit unless she tells them too and that is usually after new grads come vist her personally. Hope this helps.
Have you heard anything newnurse88? A week ago, the nurse Manager said she sent my info and others to Mrs Goodman, a HR representative, to setup interviews. She said they just got approved for 5 openings on her unit. Just patiently waiting....

My teacher use to work there so she told me what to do. And the nurse Manager was like she told you right.

Just wondering if you've heard back from her yet for an interview? And I was wondering if I can get her name. I've been trying to call but I guess I always call during the wrong time. I'm not from Houston or else I would've made the effort to go in personally.
The nurse manager seems really nice. Every time I walk into a nurse manager's office in the Bay area they direct to apply online and won't even accept my resume *sigh.
No call yet. Love them but they tell you one thing and you hope they keep their word. I can tell you now that you won't be able to get the nurse Manager on the phone. Just the Recruitor Mrs. Lynn Goodman. She will just say I will forward your resume to the manager. Which I can tell you is not going to get you far unless you visit. And even after that, it is a waiting game.
Ahhh so another waiting game. Well I applied to every single position that had LD/OB Women's Health on the TCH website so hopefully something pushes through.
Is the one doing the interview the one you met in person?
The move is supposed to be March 26 so everyone's probably on their feet trying to get things organized and stuff.
Good luck to us I guess and keep me updated please :)
