I called the COA and scheduled a meeting with the Executive Director. @loveanesthesia is right; after the October visit, they're having a meeting in mid to late January and stated that a decision has to be made within 30 days. He stated that the deadline to be regionally accredited had passed for Wolford, but also expressed that the process for regional accreditation takes time. He stated that the school was taking the necessary steps, and therefore the board would take that into consideration. He would not divulge much more information beyond that, although his tone gave an optimistic vibe.

I'm still planning to attend in February as I'm not worried. If anything, accreditation status will be made public within our first month in the program.

a lot of info to remember. still havent had our first test yet. but we only go to class 3 days a week, which is nice. no word yet on accreditation.

Do you know if Wolford will be a DNP only program in the future? Also if you don't mind me asking what were your stats?

Not sure about only a DNP program. My GPA was 3.32 and my GRE was 308 and essay 3.5

8 years of icu, between ccu, cvicu, and bone marrow transplant icu.

Anyone going to Wolford Spring 2017 that needs a place to stay I've have a great condo that I'm looking to split. I've had very good luck renting to students in the past. Located between NCH and NCH North, 10 blocks off the beach, quiet, super clean, pool, electric, wifi. I do have a cat. I also work in the OR downtown as a scrub. A lot. Barb. 239-250-9108
