Anyone in the allnurses community applying to Wolford for 2017 spring start?
What are interviews like? I just sent my application in so I don't expect to hear anything for a little bit. How long did it take to hear back regarding interviews or not? Was it an email or snail mail?
I will be having to make the transition to FL while my husband and family would stay home in SC.
I have a little over 2 1/2 years in CCU at a level one trauma center. I have been out of school for a while now and that seems to be a big deterrent to admission groups. I have taken a Patho grad course and did well. I definitely have the drive to become a CRNA and the will. I just need someone or some school to look at more than just what's on paper. But I get it-- but it's still frustrating. I excel clinically but do not have the best grades to show for it in the past.
The interview is very informal, just you and three or four staff members. They want to get to know you during the interview since they already have your transcripts. My GPA was only 3.3 and that didn't deter them from excepting me. You will hear back from them within a couple of weeks by email, you may even get a phone call. It depends on how early you interview. My brother had a late interview date and he received a phone call on his drive back home that same day. I too left my wife and kids at home to attend school, it is a challenging adjustment, but doable.

Hey guys, I am in the Wolford program in Naples. Just started semester two. COA was here doing interviews for our Regional accreditation. We will hear back in October on weather we be granted accreditation. We just lost our roommate, who left the program due to family issues, and we are looking for someone to share the expenses. Message me if anyone is interested, thanks.
