Wolford college CRNA Spring 2018

Published

Anyone attending wolford college spring 2018 class?

Specializes in Nurse Anesthesiology.

Well I can see people will continue to have their opinions no matter the actual facts. COA accreditation is done for each individual program not a school as a whole. Wolfords own website will tell you it's only done by SACS and if you actually research this topic you will see SACS is not regognized as a regionally (nationally) accreditation and other programs will not recognize the degree. So yes please do your research. All I can say is good luck with your program hopefully it works out for you all there. If you really want to look into it all you can easily call around to other program directors or email them and they can explain the same thing to you in regards to types of accreditation.

SACS is one of the Regional accreditors. Regional accreditation is the gold standard and trumps national accreditation. A huge step forward for future graduates of the program as their degree will be recognized. COA is specialized accreditation which is required for graduates to be able to take the National Certification Exam and become a CRNA.

Hey there is anyone applying for the Jan 2019 Term? If so has anyone heard anything regarding interviews?

I am planning to but I don't think I can coz I will finish the requirements by mid dec so I doubt if they would squeeze me in . When did you apply ? Did u hear back yet ?

Hey I sent everything in about 3 weeks ago.

Haven't heard anything back yet

Just wondering how long does it normally take to find out.

My understanding is that they are really quick if they need to fill up the seats but 3 weeks is about the average time I've heard . So might be this week that you hear some good news .. are you from Fl ? What are ur stats like ? What made you choose wolford ? Sorry for bombarding you there lol

"If" they need to fill seats? The definitely need to fill seats. People aren't beating the doors down to get into a program under transition and with a long history of a poor reputation. Apply and I'm sure you'll get in. They will need to fill seats I'm sure....

PLEASE look at what others have said about this.

Hey is anyone starting in January 2019? I just got done interviewing but is anyone else worried about the program being reviewed in January for COA accreditation? Is there any reason why it wouldn't pass? If I get in it's just kind of a big decision to make to start school with the chance of having to quit if they aren't nationally certified.

Why are you constantly trolling this thread? Keiser has no shortage of applicants, and the accreditation review is going quite well, with the very few states problems having been fixed. They are not "under transition," and have graduated about 1000 CRNAs, so they do not have a "poor reputation" except with the haters and snobs who have nothing but second-hand information. Enough with you, already.

Accreditation will be fine. If you are accepted, attend. You won't be sorry. My other comment was towards the troll, not you, BTW.
