I'm a nursing major, so A&P is obviously a requirement, but I'm withdrawing. All semester long, I've struggled, and it's not like I haven't been trying. I've done all I can, but my professor doesn't teach, and I looked at it, and unless I ace the next two tests AND the last lab practical, I won't get a C which is what is considered passing for nursing. So tomorrow, I'm meeting with my advisor (which I was going to do anyway to go over what I'm taking next semester) and withdrawing from the course. This means that I have to retake it next semester, and take A&P II over the summer, but there isn't much else I can do. Ugh.
I found out today that the A&P II course at my local community college is pretty much the equivalent of the one here, so I'll be taking that over the summer with my friend who also withdrew from A&P I and is from the same area as I am. So that's good. I don't have to worry about transportation or living elsewhere or anything, and it'll only cost about $700 rather than $2000+.

Somehow, even though I always put A&P first, my grades in my other classes are all stellar! A's and one B at midterms! I guess that just means that I'll do even better now because I won't have A&P to worry about! I can put more time and effort into other courses, and have an absolutely stellar GPA for the semester.
I'm not a quitter when it comes to school either. The only time I've ever dropped a class was when I was literally failing a math class in high school. I went from honors to regents, and did well in regents!
I know you'll do fine taking algebra over the summer. I took an algebra over the summer, and I hate math, and I ended up with a B!
