Hi all,
I'm scheduled to take that pesky TEAS test in less than 2 hours. I've studied the study guide, taken the online practice test, and spent countless hours obsessing about this one test. I only have about a 3.4 GPA so I really need a good national percentage score on this thing to stay competitive for the program I want to get into. Their point system is half GPA and half TEAS score. I feel like puking right now I'm so anxious. This may sound funny, but I chose to take it on Friday the 13th because if something goes horribly wrong and I get an awful score then I can blame it on the day (my mind works in odd ways sometimes). EEEKKKKKK!!!!!!

LOL!! That sounds like something I would do. Are you applying to an RN program or LPN program? I'm applying to an LPN program this fall, so I'll be taking the TEAS test at the end of the year and I'm already nervous. :uhoh21: Good luck!
Thanks. It's an RN program. Just got done with the TEAS a couple of hours ago. Scored 99th percentile national So I'm very happy right now.
My chances just improved immensely on getting into my #1 choice school for this Fall. Good luck for when you take it. The study guide was actually harder than the real test.

That's awesome, congrats!
I agree, the study guide was much harder than the actual test. I suppose that's a good thing, but I was annoyed about all the endless hours I spent working on math things that weren't even on the test!
OTOH, I had to take a math placement test for school and scored MUCH better than I would've if I hadn't been studying for the TEAS. I qualified for precalc/trig . . . not that I plan on taking such a class!

Congrats!
I just got back from taking mine too! I feel like I did good and I am happy with my score. I scored an 89%.
Now I just need to wait until June to find out if my score was good enough to gain admission to the program!
Good luck to everyone else waiting!
You can check your local college bookstore or you can buy one from www.atitesting.com.
I also have one to sell if you are interested. You can pm me.

Im taking the test this Saturday, do you have any advice? What was the hardest portion?
The math portion was hardest from a time standpoint - do not spend too much time on any problem! I had zero time left after I finished the math portion. But I found the science more difficult, and I did the worst on that part. I thought the English stuff was really easy.
Good luck!
