Hello,

My name is Kiana and I am trying to reach out to any nurses who have attended Wilkes University, specifically anyone who has gone through/is going through their online NP program. I have seen several threads up here about Wilkes, but no one (including the people who say they are enrolled and seeking help) has come back to give any feedback. From my research the college seems very good, however I would love to speak to individuals who have attended or are attending their online NP program to get a feel for the college. I was just accepted into the colleges PMHNP program and I am finding it a little unsettling that I cannot find any reviews on this program. I have more than 1 option but I am leaning towards this school. Any info will help.

I didnt see that they require letter of recommendations. Is it part of the complete application?

Any updates OP or any other person who's in the psych program? Please don't be like others and not contribute??...

How are the courses and exams? How's faculty support? Are you required to do a certain amount of hours per population for clinicals? Has anyone takennyheir boards? Did you feel the program prepared you to pass?

It's been a great experience for me and i believe i am well prepared for the board. I finish this November. Their exams are proctors, with Video.

Do they actually help find clinical placements???? Their website said. "Guaranteed Clinical Placement". Please, let me know....this will be the last determining factor!

Me too. I am applying for Spring 2021. Everything seems to be okay except I cannot really find much reviews about this university on internet. I would love to hear from someone who has attended or is attending this university about their experiences. Please let me know if you do. Also, I noticed that most of the threads here are about the PMHNP program and not the FNP program. Do you know if the FNP program is fairly new there? I feel like making decision would be easier after hearing from someone in the same program.

I have talked to only 2 people now. One who really enjoys the program only complaint was limited held finding a preceptor. But starting this fall they will being organizing preceptors for us (so I heard). Another said she does not feel prepared and would not recommend it. Hope to find more people who went to this school and get more feedback!
