Hello,
My name is Kiana and I am trying to reach out to any nurses who have attended Wilkes University, specifically anyone who has gone through/is going through their online NP program. I have seen several threads up here about Wilkes, but no one (including the people who say they are enrolled and seeking help) has come back to give any feedback. From my research the college seems very good, however I would love to speak to individuals who have attended or are attending their online NP program to get a feel for the college. I was just accepted into the colleges PMHNP program and I am finding it a little unsettling that I cannot find any reviews on this program. I have more than 1 option but I am leaning towards this school. Any info will help.
Thank you so much!! (If I decide to attend I promise I will keep you all updated)
No I did, PMHNP.
I felt prepared and I love the program. I passed my board on first try. You have to put a lot of time into the program andbit will pay off at the end. I finished last Nov, and I passed board in December last year.
I did th PMHNP program but I have friend that did the FNP and they had no regret.

These questions go for Psychbeast or anyone else who either has gone through the FNP program or has a friend that is in it or gone through it:
What has been your experience in the program so far?
Do you feel prepared for clinical?
Are there instructional powerpoints or is it mostly them throwing articles at you and saying, "hey, read these and take the test"?
(Is it mostly self taught?) I know that graduate students need to be self-motivated, but Is it mostly self taught with minimal guidance or is it great guidance?
Are the teachers responsive or helpful if you have questions?
Does the program mostly consist of writing papers or mostly exams?

Psychbeast, I’d like to ask you a few questions about the program if you have the time. [email protected]
