I had my license suspended in 2005 for diversion, I have been working with the Board of Nursing in Minnesota since then, I have also been clean and sober since August 2005. I have complied with all stipulations of my order, there have been times where my physician and those that have attested to my sobriety did not get their reports they needed to submit on time or I wasn't able to make it to my drop site within 2 hours to submit a UA but I always went in the following day. I'm not sure if not having an attorney with me played a part in their decision but I feel as though I have proven that I am done with using drugs and alcohol and would just like to have my license back so I pursue a higher degree so I can have more choices within the nursing field aside from working with meds, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would think you would get your answers from the board of nursing. Its worth a try. Be honest, and open.
