I was just wondering why that under the nursing specialties there isn't anything about neuro?? I would consider neuro more of a speciality than half of the other titles listed. Just curious if anyone could help me out on this one.

Try this, click on the "Specialty" tab, then click "Critical Care" nursing and once you get to that page you will see "Neuro Intensive Care Nursing". I'm not sure if that's what your looking for but I think that is the only "Neuro Nursing" board we have on this forum.

yeah I think Neuro ICU is the only neuro board... not sure why.

lovegoddess, I posted almost the same question the other day! Didn't realise you had already asked!
IMHO, there should be BOTH a Neuro forum for nurses and a Neuro ICU forum for critical care nurses!
Afterall, cardiac nursing has a standard forum, in addition to a CCU forum in the critical care section!!

I could not agree more! It could combine non-ICU neurosurg, neurology and stroke - if an admin is interested in following this up :)
