Yesterday evening I decided that I would finally have an avatar. Took me 20 minutes to decide what I wanted. Obviously something not super identifiable like my pet, but a nod at loving what I do.

Literally what I googled last night. Elementary school teeth visits make me happy, and I have some hefty framed glasses. (Not because my prescription is hefty... I was a hipster in college and thought my chunky frames were cool and alternative, but also expensive, so I'm getting my money's worth of wearing them ahaha)

By chance, I ran across a painting of mine I did back in 2000 on the internet. The painting was exhibited at my first solo art show and then given to a buddy as barter for allowing me to use his store to do some street cartooning.
His store closed years ago, I've lost contact with my buddy, and have no idea where the photo was taken.

I picked my avatar because Alfred E. Neuman (Mad magazine) was a laid back guy. "What, me worry?" That's my approach to everything, be laid back but alert and always evaluating the situation and environment. Don't stress out and don't panic.
