Yesterday evening I decided that I would finally have an avatar. Took me 20 minutes to decide what I wanted. Obviously something not super identifiable like my pet, but a nod at loving what I do.
TOOTH WITH GLASSES.
Literally what I googled last night. Elementary school teeth visits make me happy, and I have some hefty framed glasses. (Not because my prescription is hefty... I was a hipster in college and thought my chunky frames were cool and alternative, but also expensive, so I'm getting my money's worth of wearing them ahaha)
I love bright colors and thought it looked kind of like a nurse badge. I wonder who made it? I found it surfing the web. Thanks to whoever you are.
Very fitting for your username, wondern.
And I'm sure the artist, wherever they are, is pleased that their creation is appreciated.
By chance, I ran across a painting of mine I did back in 2000 on the internet. The painting was exhibited at my first solo art show and then given to a buddy as barter for allowing me to use his store to do some street cartooning.
His store closed years ago, I've lost contact with my buddy, and have no idea where the photo was taken.
Here's the only known photograph of the painting, from a newspaper, of a logo done on an old truck hood:

Thanks, Davey Do, and also for sharing your creativity. So you've been this way for a while.
You're welcome wondern- and thank you for your appreciation!
Art is, truly, my bliss. I have been this way as long as I can remember. This is a copy of a drawing my Mom sent into a mag when I was about 6 or 7 years old:

OMG, that is really good, not to mention totally adorable. Your Mom sounds sweet. Everyone could use a Mom who'll support and send in their artwork. Look at the one kitty posing on his yarn ball. Awwwww!
Have you ever noticed that you never see Alfred E. Newman and George W. Bush at the same place? I think they are one and the same person
I'm sorry to squash your perspective, Spanked, but I have irrefutable evidence that Alfred E. Neuman and George W. Bush are not one and the same person:

I rest my case.
