Who's waiting for their letter from Jeff State ???

OK....the wait is killing me:uhoh3: So I thought I would start a thread to see just how many people are waiting like me. If you have heard anything like when we might hear something let us know.

it's hard to HAVE MET the requirements and not get in because of another college whom you have paid money to have all transcripts sent...didn't do their job in doing so.

NO KIDDING! I asked UAB to send my transcripts 3 times and paid for them, and they STILL didn't put K. Johnson's name on the envelope! Mrs. Johnson finally found my transcipts sent to the admissions office, and her name was on the transcript INSIDE THE ENVELOPE. I spent about $35 (I think- somehwere close anyway) for those transcripts, and they still didn't do it right!

But I AM actually relieved that I didn't get in this time, because I am getting married in August (Less than a month, WOO!), and I would like to have the time to adjust to married life and a new home before I get slung into the madness!

I'll TOTALLY get in next time-- I'm sure of it. Thanks for the kind words!

It'll be ok-- We'll see each other next time, eh? What I would do if I had to do it again, is just go to UAB and pick the transcript up and physically take it to jeff state and put it in my advisor's hands. She also told me during one of my visits with her that the ideal application (mind you, not ideal CANDIDATE, just APPLICATION) was one that had a sealed transcripts and the application in a folder and handed it to her.

I got my letter last week and it was for full time on the Shelby Camp. , but it states that my Or. is on July 16th. Is this the case for any other Shelby NS student that will be starting Fall 2008?

I did get in and did not accept it because i was accepted to UAB! But Best of luck to everyone that will start in the fall!!

I never got a letter either way. I called Tiffany and she said that the cutoff was 183 so I knew I didn't make it with my 180. I'm taking Micro this summer but it didn't count toward my pts. My GPA is 3.8 and I aced the Compass test so I wondered if maybe I didn't get a letter just in case those that declined opened a spot for some of us stragglers. Whatcha think?
